After seeing the onslaught of "what exhaust should i get" threads, and the lack of the use of the search function, i decided to take the time to start off an official exhaust thread. my hope is that people will post up there exhaust setups, with pictures/vids/soundclips, and their overall impression of their setup.
now i know this is posted in the p5 forum, but if it needs to be moved to a more generic forum, then so be it. Ill also edit this post as necessary. Im hoping this will get stickied, and get big enough to be a once stop thread for info.
My setup: Racing Beat Catback
Overall its a very quiet system, its loud when you want it, and quiet enough for the drive home at night. It doesnt drone while cruising, and has a wonderful tone at WOT. Its a quality piece, with a tip that is noticeable and looks classy, and is good if youd rather not opt for the canister look. Overall im very happy with it.
The install went a little longer then it should have, but only because my friend and i stripped an axle back bolt. With that aside it bolts up just fine, with 0 fitment problems.

hope some people will find this helpful. i also hope other Protege people will post up their setups.
