We have cops come by our events all the time. Probably just watching like they usually do at our events.

whats up with the cops???

It was at the fairgrounds so maybe it was just the normal security there, I'm not sure. But yeah, cops quite often stop by and just see what is up. Then we try to get them to go out for a few runs :D They do stuff pretty similar to autox in training.

Oh and last time the cop didn't go out for a run, but after we took the cones down he went out and was following the lines from the tires and the cone chalk, haha. He should have just went out with the cones up :)

what suspension are you running?

JIC FLT-A1s with custom spring rates (less in the rear :(). The car has a ton of front end grip but the rear would get way too loose. Some tire pressure changes helped, but in the end we still had to baby it in the slaloms.

Also have AWR 21.5mm swaybar, rear strut bar, camber bolts in back, bad alignment.

I'm running the TEIN SS (F-336 lb/in / R-280 lb/in, 0 toe F/R), Delsing front camber plates (@2*), Racing Beat front sway bar, AWR rear sway bar.

I'd like to get something more "race specific," but don't want to sacrifice too much for daily driving. There's a local company that makes suspensions that look similar to the setup of the K2s. I may see what they can do for the Proteges. Then there's the Holy Grail of AWR's suspension, but that's out of my price range.

Anyways, back on topic: Picture of RacerXGirl in my car!

After you buy your third or fourth suspension (that you still aren't happy with) you could have bought the AWR's! :)

well, i'm only on my 2nd, and i'm pretty happy with them. Just don't know if I can go with a stiffer spring with the way they're valved.

couldn't you just have 'em revalved to suit the rates you want to run? It'd probably be cheaper than buying a whole new setup.

We had a trooper go around the course we had setup one time, like three years ago. He couldn't go all out though because of all the equipment they have setup in the cabin.
