What have you done to your MSP today?

nice...looks like i'll replace the front set for now until I can afford the rear set. Are they noisy?

mine ended being very noisy. at first it was ok, then the lil rubber thing wore out and well it wasnt pretty. it can easily be replaced but thats not the kinda maintenance i like. however its really nice having real nuts and bolts for endlinks instead of the allen head bs that rusts out.

i have the same problem cept it hasnt caused rust yet. thanks for this.

i had the same ******* problem for over 6 months. i finally fixed it. mine leaked the same way yours does when you pour water down the windshield on the passenger side. the water is leaking from the channel were it drains underneath the car. the seam where the body frame is connected is cracked and leaking. if you look on the inside of your car in the front right corner and up as far as you can (you have to pull the carpeting and s*** up) you should see where it is dripping down. the sealant should be cracked. i went to autozone and bought some automotive goop* and caked it on there. it is still holding strong.

my ecu was rusted, the carpet was wet, and the deadening material was also soaked.

i was in the same boat as you, i just rolled over my warranty, luckily.

Try adding some Non-curing silicone sealant (111) to the ends of the endlinks and rubber gromets......should help.

yup, you described it to a T' my friend. So bad that I just missed out on my warrenty, thats what really pisses me off in all of this mess.
Anyway, do you remember exactly what the stuff was called that you bought to seal the hole?

hmmm... pehaps there is a different type of rubber washer that could be used to prevent the original one from wearing down so quickly.

I do not know for certain if it cured the problem or if it will hold up forever. I just recently gooped it all up. I do know that the majority of water isnt leaking anymore and that the car doesnt smell moldy. When i go home (im at college) next week i will rip everything up and check and see if it is fixed perfectly. The stuff is actually called Automotive Goop. It was in a red tube and at autozone. "theMan" recommended to me, "you may want to talk to your dealer's manager to get them in touch with their district service manager to good will warranty this issue as it is rare and you just passed your warranty."

prolly, same results here. in unichips defense, its just a base tune every car is different so you have to tune it. well not you, cause they make u go to a certified tuner and pay to make it run right. hence why i sold mine.

Interesting. What are you running now?

stock supermap. theres a few spots that need tuning but for the most part, right out of the box it ran awesome.

Some jackass broke into my car overnight. They broke the drivers window and stole the stereo. I had to have the window replaced I figured while I get that I might as well replace the windshiels as well. $200 bucks for just the glass, I'll put another radio in it later when I have a few spare bucks. What a way to wake up...

Thanks, I was about to order parts. Probably a good thing I decided to save a little more money. Now I have to wait more.

sorry to hear that.
same here, some bitches broke into my wrx last year and stole my freaking floor mats. sounds funny but yeah......

Did oil/filter change, put seafoam in the crankcase before the change, put the rest in the gas tank. Flushed the radiator out, put mobil 1 syn back into the car...

Car actually is running right... Still trying to track down some possible radiator gremlins, but i think the oil pressure issue has resolved itself.

Actually ran the car around today for the first time in about 4 or 5 months. Put 50 miles on it. I had forgotten how fun and enjoyable these things are. I fell back in love with the HKS SSQV BOV. Gotta love boost!

nice daedalus, glad u still loving that msp.

i went and put my new cold pipe on and installed my greddy type s and installed my relocation kit. finally got it running right after realizing i had the wrong setup. so i swapped things over, turned on the car and it ran beautifully.

job well done if u ask me... sucks doing things by yourself. wish my cousin came down and helped. o well, kudos for me!!!
