Hi All new member from the land of down under..

HI All,

Thought i'd introduce myself and my ride... Currently its a 2006 Mazda 3 mps (mazdaspeed 3 to most) currently its reasonable stock albeit with some larger holes in the airbox...

Waiting for my BEGi airbox to arrive from Ken @ Protege garage so i can start down the mod trail...

Cuurently its wearing 20% window tint and it came from the factory with one "mazdaspeed" seat one "mps" seat (should be the same for both i think)so i think i get the best of both worlds...

anyway here's some pics of my car at some drivedays i have done...

and here's some pics of it getting a full exterior detail, using Menzerna Polishes, edge pads, magic blue claybar and Optimum Car Wax.

I call this one "got milk" (after wash before polishing)

After FF (on Blue) before OCW

After OCW (bonnet was done with white edge and FF)

After Blue Edge and FF... (POP!)

Polished the headlights with P091L on green then ff on blue as well

I'll second that. The blue on that is gorgeous. Watch out for stary Roo's! Believe it or not, someone actually crashed a car into one up here in CT about a year ago, lol.

I want the white, but only because I can't have it. I think given the option I wouldn't actually buy it. This blue is hot though!

WTF!! How come you guys get blue mica and Canada gets white pearl, and we're stuck with only 4 colors? If Mazda is already painting some cars with that color, why can't it be offered everywhere? That was the color I wanted...grrrr!

Yes the land of down under is Australia, specifically Melbourne....Yeah the colour is what sold me as well... its called Aurora Blue and it either goes a deep blue/purple at night or a very light blue metallic in direct sunlight.

I have some photos of the seats at home and i'll post them tonight...

I think Yoshi must have been on the beers when this one rolled down the line...

I actually took it back to the mazda dealership to make sure that the seat is ok for australia as i wanted to make sure that the airbags are the same (aus have different standards to the U.S market)
