Oh No! Help!!!

Yesterday while waiting at karate class i had my ipod video hooked up to my MS3 and was watching fight club with it hooked up to the aux.

I used the gauge dimmer button opposite to the trip computer button on the cluster.

Now I only have two brightness options vs. the 5-6 i had before and my gauges just don't light up.

what do i do?

Wow, is there Mazda tech support? I bet the first thing they ask is, "Do you have a Mazda," followed by, "Is the car on?" Little support humor there... That really sucks! Good luck, no idea here...

I would reset the ecu see if that works....

i know mine changes with the lights on/off... with the lights on i only have 2 options with the lights off i have like 5-6... you sure you just aren't (smoke)

I just have two settings from that button, bright or not. However, there is also a dial down by the dsc button that adjusts brightness as well.

Same here. With the lights on, I only have two dimmer options. With the lights off, I have the 5-6 dimmer options.

Yep same here. Just discovered that today. Before, I had only pushed it at night when the lights were on so I thought there were only 2 settings. I pushed it this morning with the lights off and I believe there were 5 settings.

I was able to fix it, I just disconnected the battery for about 30 mins.
