MSP Conversion Help

Hey all! I am new to the forums and just had a few questions.

I currently have a 2000 Protege ES and I basically want to turn it into a custom MSP. I want to get the whole body kit and I have read some other threads and heard that it might not work for my year. Is this true? Or could I get a MP3 kit? I am extremely jealous of anyone who has a MSP especially in spicy orange. If I had the money I would just get an MSP but that isn't an option. Thanks guys for any assistance.

The headlight shape is different. The one you have is a two piece and more squarish while the 2001+ is more curvey. The MSP sideskirt and rear lip will work but I am pretty sure you will have to do some custom work on the front. I seen some proteges with your year with the msp kit but there had to be some modifications done to the front i believe.

You'll have to custom fit the MSP bumper to your bumper then. Alot of $$$. Sucks but us 99/00 Protege guys really get screwed for front bumper options. I got a 01-03 Mazda Front Air Dam and it fits pretty well on my 99 bumper.....flows nicely with my MSP sideskirts and rear lip.

in my opinion, the Sport20 bumper works with the Protege much better than the MSP bumper does. to me, the MSP bumper doesn't flow well off the hood.

I think I am going to go with the Sport-20 front bumper and then just use the MSP rear, side skirts and spoiler.
