actually I'm looking forward to the SRT4 vs. RalliArt vs. WRX vs. MS3 battle, although it might be short since the MS3 should be nearing the end of production soon.

I'll enjoy seeing this car on the streets though very nice ride It's a great looking car.

The Japan edition gets 276hp at 6500rpm and 311 ft-lb at 3500. The US edition should get something like 300hp though because there is some rule they have in Japan about only having 276hp max.

No word on price that I have heard but yea expect mid 30s easily is my guess.

I will take an RS model though. No electric crap to break, no a/c, no spoiler and probly no dual clutch autoshift tranny just a plain old manual.

Did you notice the WRX in the pic? It's a 2007 model blue, they must be driving them together for comparison purposes. Kind of like the 911 turbo and the GTR have been doing.

from what I hear the 'world engine" it has will have a tad more power out of the box but modded the old MR will outperform a modded new one. I for one dont like the direction those cars are headed , they had a certain raw appeal to them and I think they are going in a more civil direction, but hey I just spent 25k on a speed 3 so what do i care about the neighbors car.

Agreed. The new Evo looks to be "growing up". Not really digging it, but I haven't driven one yet, so I'll reserve judgement. Is it just me, or does that thing look REALLY tall?

looks really tall.lol i agree. it does look mean though. but the evo's interior has always been reall overlooked. i feel. so idk how i feel about the new evos.

lol i have been saying these evo's look too tall since i first saw them, no one else seems to get it, glad someone else feels the same way.

IMO the evoX performance-wise should be an upgrade, but looks? the evo VIII and IX win hands down

It was a gentlemans' agreement that cars could not be advertised to have over 276 hp. It was fairly common for cars to have greater than that amount, it was just not something they would advertise. I'm pretty sure that the agreement is over, however.
