sorry to hear. i been through this with my cav. it was like midnight and i was on rt 44 in CT(theres no street lights). same thing, was goin 40 and thers nothing u can do when tehy jump out. i had the same amt of damage (cept, u know it was a cav so...lol). my deer ran off, in fact the state trooper lady started crying when i told her i hit a deer. i had to console her, from a distance of course, didnt want to get shot haha.
