Yup. I spend my summers in Georgia and the rest of the year in Tampa. Its always hot. If I could have done 20% and still been able to see at night I would have done that.

I miss the big swath I had across the top that the lady who owned it before me did...I have super sensitive eyes and it really helped a lot!

i have the same problem. i think mines from ym heat exhanger but i dont want to take the bumper off again.

Shiet, a police officer in Texas catches u with your front windshield tinted......damn good chance it'll get towed. Must be nice....
Probably true here as well but I really dont care. They can't prove its tinted unless they remove the windshield or break it. The instrument they use won't fit around your A-Pillar
maybe that's a houston thing... pretty sure that you could drive around here going 10 over with no doors, no plates, cardboard windows, and a skanky naked hooker riding shotgun and they wouldn't care...(deadhorse

Ive been pulled over a couple times just so the cop can check my papers....and then they let me go. They will find any and every reason to ticket u down here, its ridiculous. They'd have a field day with windshield tint.....and ALL tint must be marked with an 'official tint sticker' on every tinted window no matter how legal the tint percentage is, or else u get ticketed. Its crazy dood..

What the hell is wrong with my car. MAF sensor??? I start my car, if I just try to tap the gas barely, and the idle drops, and the car stalls but starts back up again by itself. It'll do it over and over. After awhile though, I can force it and the car starts working and drives.
Also, in 1st gear sometimes, I'll go to give it gas from a dead stop. The car will pause for a second like I hit the brakes, and then slowly start to go again.

Did you just get regular black tint on it? I've got platinum tint on mine, 35% as well, and it does help alot.
post some pics of yours too.... I've thought about doing that but I've never seen how it looks... Does the police stop you a lot? Is it something that is super noticable or is it something that you really have to look hard at to notice?
Just an FYI, in most locales, having your windshield tinted AT ALL below the OEM-placed line (usually 2-3" from the top) is illegal and you can be ticketed for it.

I'm up in michigan and I have had it on for about 3 years and have had no problems. I've been pulled over a few times for other things and not once did the cop say anything about the tint. The platinum is really noticeable in somewhat cloudy conditions, almost a mirrorish look. At night it doesn't even look like it's there. I'm getting my windshield replaced today (stupid rock cracked it) and the tint is going back on on monday. I'll try to figure out how to get pics on here then.
Ill try to get some today.
GreaseMonkey: I just got regular black, during the day you can't really tell that its there but it does help keep the sun out of my eyes, at night though you really can't see in at all
.nvmsp: Check all of your couplers on your intercooler piping. Also check for leaks around your throttle body. When I first put my PG intake mani on I had a small leak around the tb and it did almost the exact same thing.
Yea but I've got a stock intake manifold, it's never even been taken off once.
Gotta get everything looked at by my mechanic. Turbo cars are so annoying.
