What have you done to your P5 today?

I might as well post for the first time on this thread.

I just put a set of seat covers on that I must say look pretty damn good. The steering wheel cover and shoulder pads are a nice little touch too. Put the shorty antenna on and omg does it look much better. Also bought brand new floormats that make the car look so much cleaner. Installed a blaupunkt bahamas deck with a pair of pioneers.

A set of 2 12" Audiobahns are coming (thumb) but anyway, I washed the car yesterday and took a pic which is the sig pic. spent about 2 hours washing it and using the spray on wax which works and looks great. And then today, it freakin rains!! ahhhhhh stupid Ohio.

i like your fuzzy dice;)

Sounds like you are hooked up in that department (drive2). As long as you enjoy the car, the repair is worth it.

I know my car is not perfect and perhaps one day I will have to put serious money into it, but I enjoy the hell out of it every day. So it makes it worthwhile.

Here's to a speedy recovery (cheers) (Jones Soda :D)

yea i love my protege. its a fun car to drive. its finally gonna be a brand new car again. new motor, new radiator, new headlights, new front bumper, now a new tranny lol

cleaned & reoiled the k&n, pulled out 2 burned out lamps...one in the oil press guage and the running lights rear tail....installed the 6 wagon rear wiper and lost the little cover...?????(cryhard) oh ya, i had to modify the new air diverter a bit....CF hood bracket was hitting it...dremel away!!!!

I took the liberty of fixing that post for you Mark :p

I've got to say that the mazdaspeed sway bar is the single best thing I have done to my car in recent memory. So far, it's been quiet, and for a street setup, the handling is superb. I'm on Illuminas (set to 3f/4r) with Mazdaspeed springs, so the suspension has been decent, but always a little too pushy for me. Now I have just enough rotation when warranted, with still a hint of understeer when you overcook it. For a daily driver fwd car, it handles so well, and rides great :D

So sorry for the noob question but why does everyone comment on the sway bars being quiet? are some of them loud... how does a sway bar make noise?

you're too good to me!

Replaced split ass 3 yr old kartboy hanger by muffler. Put on the RX-7 relective clear side markers replacing the gaudy celica nonreflective ones. Put fresh oem front motor mount back in with the trusty rr inserts-SLS front & side for sale soon.

oh s***, man, still no luck with the exhaust? Maybe you need a 2nd set of hands? wish I could help..

Took mu lunch break and completely removed the roofrack mounts. only took about 45 minutes to remove everything and get stuff almost put back together.. As I was putting stuff back together, it started to rain. My Luck!!! So, I cleaned the tracks off and laid down a few strips of black vinyl tape. It just stopped raining and I checked the tape. it looks like it did the job. Now I just need the channel filler strips. car looks a little cleaner now.

tomorrow, I may try to wash/compound/wax her....if it's not 100 degrees again!
