What have you done to your P5 today?

Today will be:

Replace 2nd O2 sensor
Remove and inspect all vacuum lines
Remove and inspect all pipes and couplers
Inspect exhaust manifold and bolts
Inspect and clean MAF

Maybe:
Inspect and clean IAC (I'm not sure where this thing is or what it looks like)
Inspect and clean EGR

I'm getting a new windshild for the Prote today. It got hit with a rock and cracked.

yea that happens to me like ever 6 months (argh) Now I dodge dump trucks and the like, like they are full of plague victims

Bill passes two gravel pits on the way to and from work everyday. For a while we were getting a new windshield about every 6 months too. For some reason this one has lasted a really long time. He got it just before MazFest 05. Its all pitted to hell so I'm glad its finally getting replaced.

Well I got the O2 sensor replaced but I noticed something interesting... I was missing one stud from my s-pipe (that's one of three) and it causes quite a large exhaust leak - enough to feel with just the car on, no light plugging of the muffler. Well, I have a new stud so I'm going to see if this is what was causing my problems...

Osrams are here....installed. gonna hold off on HIDs. I'm thinking about the DGM lip instead..

While I was installing some led turn signal bulbs in the back of my car today (back of car facing house), a mom walking her dog and some little kids walked by. One of the little boys stoped at the end of my driveway, looked at my car and said "thats a nice car..." and just turned and kept going. This kid had to of been like 5 or 6, which kinda gave me a O.o look. So I was like (rockon) little kid, and went back to work.

Replaced the missing stud just before it started to POUR!!! Man, good timing, unfortunately I can't do half the stuff I wanted to now. Well, the AFR's from my WB seem to be back on track but the car still seems like it's struggling to maintain that idle.

Beginning the re-wiring of my lights. I found the wire that's shorting out. It's the green and black wire that comes out of the underhood fuse box and goes to the lights. Now, time to replace that whole wire...

removed the down pipe and shipped it to the correct owner, installed the remaining kartboy exhaust hangers ( I_do_not_look_forward_to_removing_them______ever )

LOL, trust me, you'll have to remove them at least once and it sucks immeasurably. Lots of dish soap and muscle...

blew a fuse trying to "cleaning up" some wiring under the dash....anyone know where to find a nice secondary fuse block??

Just got done giving her a bath. Man it looks hot when it's clean !! She is now sitting on jackstands in the garage for the night so I can try to figure out why my brakes are squeaking. I didn't think my pads were in that bad of shape. I guess we'll see tomorrow.

lol i've heard of dish soap, pam cooking oil, various lubricants. I use a giant tub of wheel bearing grease that I have.

i found the grease makes it worse because it just makes my hands slip. just be sure not to get it on the part you will be pushing/pulling. tried lithium grease?
