Yeah, it does. Everyone I've shown it to is really curious as to what's going on to sap so much power there.
We did a few pulls to, but even with a fan on the TMIC, heat wash sapped strength something awful. Crappy fan, so nothing like the air that should put pushed when running on the street, but it really makes me wonder if investing in something like BEGI's FMIC aren't worth it.
Call Cosworth I think they have head packages for the MZR. The numbers drop off so badly because the turbo is running out of breath. Open pipes and tuning will help that most likely.
Seems like they spec'd a small stock turbo because the stock DI pump can't keep up with much more than stock HP at high RPM. If the turbo was bigger and HP continued to climb past 5,800 the pump would have a better chance of running lean. With a DI pump upgrade and a bigger turbo (with intake and exhaust big enough to match) I don't see why the power curve wouldn't change drastically.
