After riding in my first Pan Mass Challenge last year with my father and Team Solid Works, it was an experience I will never forget. This year my father-in-law is going to join the team for the battle against cancer. He was amazed with how the event was run and how much this ride benefits the Jimmy fund and instantly wanted to be part of the ride. It will be great training with him this spring and summer. <O

Many of my favorite childhood memories involve time spent with my grandfathers. Unfortunately, their lives were cut short by colon cancer. I am riding in memory of them and celebration of my sons first birthday this May. I hope that my children are able to spend even more time with their grandparents while growing up.<O

Last year, with the generosity of family and friends, I was able to raise over $4300. In order to participate again this year, I have pledged to raise at least $4500 dollars by August. I hope that you will be able to help. Consider donating the cost of a nice dinner out. If you can dedicate twenty-five, fifty, or even one-hundred dollars to helping find a cure, you will be in good company. Any donation will be appreciated. Pledges are due by August 5th. For you convenience, I can accept your check as late as mid-September.

For every dollar that the PMC raises, over 99 cents are donated for life-saving cancer research and treatment at Dana-Faber Cancer Institute through its Jimmy Fund. The Pan Mass Challenge raises over 50% of the yearly contributions for the Jimmy Fund and the PMC raised over 27 Million for the 06 Ride. Over the past 27 years the PMC has raised over $171 Million crucial finds that have improved the lives of cancer patients and their loved ones around the globe.
