Well to make a long story short. I finalized my MS on 6/30. And of course the next day freaking Mazda comes out with that 1500. rebate :mad: WEll I called them asap and let them know that the salesperson actually moved our appointment from Tues the 1st to the Monday the 30th to finalize things, since he wanted to get the sale done to go towards his stats for Mazdas sold in June. So my salesperson was cool so I thought Im gonna hook him up and get him the sale not knowing about this rebate, and none of knew until july 1st. Well we were playing phone tag from the 1st through the 3rd and I didnt get a direct contact until the 7th of July to discuss me getting the rebate. Well the Sales mgr called me to talk about getting me the rebate or I thought. He said if I would of gone there the first days of July we could of redone the paperwork to get the rebate for me and right now the loan is already out of their office, etcccc... all BS to me. So I told him look Tony, I called The first days and your boy(my salesperson) said that you were gonna call me to see if I could get the rebate. And the Mgr says "you call the 1st and 2nd, well this is news to me, I thought you were just calling today(7th). I was like OMFG dude, you gotta be kidding so he went on and on rambling about he's in a tough situation about getting me the rebate and we got into it. He stayed cool but I lost it!!!! The whole point is that if I would of kept my appt for July 1st(tues) I wouldnt have to complain about the rebate cause I would of qualified. Its like he wanted the sale done and I went outta my way and since I did that I should deserve the rebate since less than 24hrs later a rebate was offered.
So I told him it was on, and I was going to contact Mazda USA again and their customer svc and hung up on him when he tried to talk to me afterwards. Well yesterday I called their customer svc for that dealer and happend to get the executive for the dealership in cust. svc. I explained everything and he was supa cool and said he's gonna make a phone call to his GM and regional. Called me back at work in about an hour and a half and said everything is done and were really sorry about your experience with Tony(sales mgr). Then he says alot of peeps dont get along with him and I was like WTF then why is he a sales mgr, but I was just happy the rebate was given to me. I just went in that day signed the rebate form and it should be here in 2weeks. But I wont believe it till I see it. And that mgr was all trying to kiss my ass when I came in too
