i have a 6 disc 2004 stock stereo in great condition that i want to give you plus $$ for your 2005+ 6 disc changer... willing to consider single disc changers but would prefer 6 disc, would be better locally but can work something out if not... very motivated!!! (attn)

stereo is very easy to take out, you only need to remove the carbon fiber looking trim piece and 4 screws, then it just slides out, no tools other then a phillips screw driver.

Just curious, but what's the reason you want a 2005+ radio? AFAIK, the radios for the '04s and the '05s are the same.

he wants it (and i im looking for one too but i'll let him have first dibs) because the 05 head unit comes sirius satellite ready. thats it.

tsunami is so desperate he may just take his out, fly there and swap it with yours.

hahaha.... don't know bout flyin there, but i will pay for shipping each way and butter your palms for your troubles....if you are interested pm me with a reasonable offer and your zip i will look into what shipping

It's a shame neither one of you guys were local, being that I could care less about satellite radio, I'd swap mine out. Have the 6 disk in dash model now, would've preferred the MP3 capable player instead. Damned option packages!!!

like i said to the previous guy, if you don't mind puttin it in a return box i will send you mine first and butter your palms a bit for your troubles of course, then just send me the pre-paid box back with your radio in it.... should be less then 5 days turnaround time i would think...

you have no idea... maine radio is the worst, and my cd collection is gettin tired, i have a two hour round trip drive to and from work everyday.... i need MUSIC!!! thought of the ipod deal, but i think sat radio is a better option and i don't want that s*** hangin off my dash so.....

If you get the right iPod thingy you can wire it anywhere. I plan to run mine underneath everything and end it in the console. That way I can just open the console, plug my iPod in, close the console, and nothing is showing.

yeah thats a lot of commuting. i say you go with the ipod deal man. sattellite is cool and everything but there is been a couple of times where there was nothing to listen to. the only thing that saves it are the talk shows and the comedy channel. But you can just subscribe to podcasts and load your ipod and then just listent to it on the road.
Personally im going with the carputer, i will get it wifi enabled and just load my music while in the garage and subscribe to podcasts. Worst case i can still hook up a sattelite radio to the carputer.

yeah i want a carputer as well... just not as comp savy (building wise) as most and then you still need to input that into your stock stereo via...??... prob the auxmod is what i would think
