I'm (still) looking for an intake for my MSP. Looking for something cheap, like the Perrin, which has been going for like $50-60 in the For Sale forums lately. Max I'm willing to pay is $70 shipped, because IMO the performance an intake gives isn't worth much more than that (and because I can make a DIY intake for about $60). I don't care if it's scratched up, scuffed up... As long as it's functional I'll take it.

I havent seen a perrin gor for anywhere near that...but there hasnt been many...I have a slightly modded Injen I could sell you. I am getting ready to put it back to stock....It had a hole cut into it for the IAT sensor and I am going to have a piece welded to close the hole back in...It would be just like it was again with an extra weld on it...Not near perfect but I'll be happy to polish it back up as well...$100 shipped.

Hm actually, yeah, you're right, not all of them go for that much. I saw a few examples, though, http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123616644&highlight=perrin and http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=114195&highlight=perrin.

But I don't want to pay more than like.. $70 or $80 for an intake because I'd finish up my DIY intake instead.

Edit: I saw an Injen go for $65 shipped, too. (boom08) http://www.msprotege.com/forum/showthread.php?t=123614416&highlight=injen
Wait, you seemed to have replied to that one... Is that the one you bought? Because if you paid $65 shipped I don't think I'd pay $100 shipped for it now...
I stand corrected...those are some good deals....and I didnt check the last link but its probably the one I have and it needs a lot of work...Welding isnt freee nor is the coupler that is missing...and after polishing it back up...I would say an Injen is easily worth a $100.

I'll take it in its regular condition... Not all too concerned with getting CAI because I live in Florida, and $65 is a good deal for an SRI anyways. I'll even give you $70 shipped ($5 more) because of supply & demand.
So...what is regular condition?
You want it like I received it?
Because if so than thats fine...$70...I could do that.
Saves me from picking up the couplers and getting the IAT hole welded closed.

Bump. What is it with people who accept an offer and then stop replying to PMs halfway?

You have experienced the first forum retarded scammer. He does not take your money, then stops replying to pm's. Consider yourself lucky.

I've been busy and have not had time to go and check that intake...Sorry...GEEZ!(boom07)

Hm, no thanks, I figured out all the rest of the stuff I need if I were to finish my DIY project I would need about $55, and I'm willing to pay a little more for a brand-name one just for its convenience... so if you're still willing to sell your intake, ForceFed, I'm willing to buy it (again, sorry for the assumptions earlier).

Bump for the off chance that someone offers something, because like I mentioned before, I've seen quite a few pass by when I wasn't looking for one. And no, I don't have the parts yet.

I will have an intake available by this weekend that i can sell in your price range. it was fabricated by a local performance shop called dynotex. nothing wrong with the intake, it performs and sounds great. i just got an aem intake because i wanted polished piping for looks. i will take pics of it today or tomorrow before i take it off and get back to you in this thread. the intake is discussed briefly in this thread, and there is a link to some pics and the company's website.
