Yes! Question when will the site be back up?? ANd I remember looking at the option of getting different pipes?? Whats the difference? I mean if someone gets that extra option what happens to the pipes, are they polished and colored?? ANd can u please get me a picture of the Ic pipes, I want to see what they look like without the extra option thanks

vick

the option was if you wanted both the hot and cold side pipes. the begi is designed so that you can use the stock cold side intake pipe. this option saves you about $110 on the kit. the pipes come powder coated in black or red, or can be done in silver for extra money.

the site....we hope soon
very soon

Thank You For the information, and ye sI also do hope your website and everything gets back up soon. How much is the whole FMIC kit? w/ the option and with out.
And are there any extra things that i might need to get if i do buy this kit? I've heard that you have to cut the coolant line, but heard someone just said they bent their's......Oh how about that thing about one of the pipes having a too big of a hole for the bvp pipe or something??
thanks

Are there any used kits u know of? If not i'll most likly get a new one hopefully soon.

You don't need to cut anything on the car to install it. I just bent my power steering lines back slightly. I will take a pic tommmorow of the kit installed. The only difference I have is that I put the maf on the cold side charge pipe. Also I am running the forge bov. I would highly recommend it with this setup. I nice clean whoosh sound with VERY minimal turkey.

How much is the forge BOV? And the MAf isn't that the thing that is connected to the air box? right.......did u get the extra option?? do u think its worth it?? thanks if u could also get some pics of the pipes too that owuld be great! thnx

The forge is $160 from their website. People sell them on here for about 100. THe maf is the little thing connected to your airbox. Mine MAF is after the turbo now, instead of before. You'll understand what I mean when you see the pictures. I'll get some pics tommorow at work and post them when I get home.

Sorry to keep buggin u, but. Did you get the extra option to get the all Hardpipes w/powdercoat? Captin KRM P5 states above that the option is like 110 extra....Just trying to find out if its wourth getting or not the extra option...

yes, get the extra option. it will give you the hot and cold side hard pipes. It is worth it to get rid of all the stock plastic stuff. by doing this too like gboromsp it gives you the option to relocate your MAF sensor to the hot side to eliminate any stall issues if you might plan to go open vent.

Here are pics, both underhood and the front so you see what the core looks like mounted.

what other BOVs work with the BEGi without stalling and without moving the MAF? And is it really necessary to move the MAF only for open vent right? And how much is the kit? 749 or something?? works w/the perrin sri ????

it will work with the SRI. 749 was a special price when we first offered the kit. current retail price is 799, 899 with the pipe option

whats your setup?

I got a gt28rs,but I clocked the outlet a little closer to the exhaust mani, and I am running a turbohoses intake that takes up a lot of room in the lower portion of the engine bay,I will post a pic.

I'm also looking to buy the Begi. Either this or the highboost. The highboost pipes are aluminum (what I'm looking for) and all polished. But the kit is slightly more $$$. Just debating about the size of the cores though. Also I was interested in all 2.5" pipes; however, I come to find out, it's not needed for what HP I'm looking for. The 2" pipes can take care of up to 300 HP, 2.5" would be for more. So the 2" pipes would be fine. And the MaF reloacted, I would be doing that also, glad to see it can be done with the Begi...
