Nate: Lights look'n good man. I like the unique but not ricey look (the kind of thing wherre those "in the know" say "Hmm, OK, that's unique and I like it" and it just looks like a better model or something to The Great Unwashed.

Would love to see a pic (even photochopped) of the black background lights on a black protege...

Those lights are ok Nate. They look almost stock at first.
Subtle they dont scream, "Look I'm a Dumbass with no taste!"
A bit different without a garish color scheme.

the lights found in that link wouldn't look that bad on a black MSP. i have seen them on a blue MP3 and i i don't like them. but on a black one it would go good.

I'd still like to see a picture if anybody has the "gun metal" ones too. I tend to think those would look even better on the orange.
