Would these bumper aprons work on the 5?

Stumbled upon an MZ3 forum and seen pics with this bumper apron. Found them on ebaY for less than what a rear bumper lip would cost. It's obviously for MZ3 application but what are the chances this could work on the 5?

Go measure a 3's rear bumper and see how it compares to the 5?

my guess would be "No". the 5 has a steeper rear bumper than the 3 - the 3 rear bumper wraps under more than the 5 does. you could probably "Make" them fit, if you really wanted to, but it would probably take a bit of work.

The Touring and GT do need something back there to tie into the low sides and front. Hope you find something that works, and post it up here.
