I noticed the P5's headlight system only uses two lights when on high beam. I'm gonna wire up for 4 lights on high beam. I've done this before with other vehicles. It involves use of a simple auto relay available at parts stores.
The low beam lamps are 60W as I recall, so 120W total. @12V nominal, that's 10A. So a 10A or 15A relay should suffice. Wiring is simple and all work is done in the engine compartment, up front near the headlights themselves. The extra power comes from the battery and does not course through the headlight switch in the cab.
