Hi, what is the largest winter tire size that i can put on my 16inch P5 rims? Will 205/65/16 or 195/65/16 fit without any interference? Any advice is appreciated, thanks
205/55r16 has about 1/8" clearance to the bottom of the spring seat with the stock wheels so a 65 sidewall is a no go, 205 or 195.
Why are you bothering going to larger diameter? that wouldn't help much with anything but softening the ride. I suppose it'll reduce the gearing but you could just reduce how hard you hit the gas to have the same effect.
