it'll be extremely close...guaranteed. the +42mm will help you as far as hitting the strut though, that will move a little of the wheel away from it. I'm guessing it will more be up to the tire fitment rather than the wheels themselves.
I've just test fitted some 17X8 +48mm enkei RS+M wheels the other night, purchasing them from a friend. With a +48mm offset, it was extremely close to the struts (within mm's) on the rear, but the front had significantly more room. i know the sedans have more space in the back than the 5's. But i'm fairly sure a 8.5" wheel will not fit on my car with a +48mm offset...however, it possibly would with your offset.
but the tires...you'll have to stretch some 205's, or maybe 215's at most to fit the rear. I know some guys have run 225's on the sedans, but i'm pretty sure that was with less offset than you, and with a narrower wheel...i'd worry the tire sidewall would clip the strut perches with an 8.5" wide wheel...but a 7" wheel will roll it under the perch a little better.
so sorry haha...not sure...other than if it works, it'll be very close.
