Im planning on getting some new wheels and a drop for my car, and i was wondering if anyone was already running this set up.

i want to get some 18" TSW Jaramas with 215/40/18 tires.
i want to go with the tokico blues/illuminas drop set up.
the wheels have a 40 or 20mm offset. but im thinking 40 is right for the p5?

will these wheels fit on my pro5 with this drop kit? and is there anyone on this site thats already running a similar setup that could tell me what to expect so far as rubbing and stuff?

Its all personal preference. I think 18s looks to big on this car, but some people like it.

It depends on your look, and I am running 215/40/17 on my 17's right now. But 215/45/17 will work!

you have any current pics of what the 17s look like?

These are 215/40/17 with a 44mm offset.

215/40/17 is the closest circumference to OEM P5 tire size so that it will not throw off your speedo/mileage. See my sig for MSP wheels (17x7 +55) with those tires.

Why does everybody want that high offset? Mine is 44 and they could even sit out farther. Why would you want them tucked in?

I don't lol. That is just the offset of the OEM MSP wheels. Eventually I will get some spacers to have them sit flush.

I have 225/45/17s with 45 offset, but it rubs so I would recommend 215/40/17
cause they dont make 225/40/17.

thanks a lot guys, yall have been more than helpful. ive decided to go w/ 17s instead of 18s. you have saved me a lot of money and inevitably a lot of trouble. itll be a while before i get the setup (a couple months, school owns), but ill be sure to post how it looks.

If you have a sedan, you must run minimum of +38.

If you have a wagon, you must run minimum of +43.

Ideal around +38-40 for front and +40-43 for rear.

//nuff said

nah! maybe +35 rear but deff +30 in front

moar camber and go lower. so low i would not need a front lip ha ha

I am getting rid of my front lip once I get my coilovers. Maybe sooner, I am tired of it.

But +30 is rediculas for a protege. Thats catchin up to vdub offset haha
