What's wrong with my Carbon Fiber hood?

My mechanic finished up some body work from a front end collision.

I have a carbon fiber hood, and he noted no cracks in the resin or the carbon fiber itself.

But my hood looks like this.

It's only on the driver side.

Is it difficult to get the hood to lock down into the latch at all?

If the hood is straight and square .. then it's always possible the front bumper and grill aren't lined up properly, and are warping the hood.

I don't know. I personally haven't had a chance to look at it yet.

thats how mine is, except only on the passenger, its ******* annoying and it makes me hate my hood

i have no idea, i didnt notice it when i had it on last summer but when i put it on last month it was just a huge ******* gap right there

no idea why, wish i knew

looks like is been bent, maybe from sitting on two tables and got a "sag" in it from where its been there so long?
thats my guess. but idk?

I grew up in Orange COunty California. It's still hard to believe people do that. hahaha.

I'll put up pics as soon as I can get my hands on a camera.

people have tried to break into my car for a bag of golf clubs in midtown manhattan. nothing is safe in that city.

My old carbon hood didn't fit perfect. But there is nobs that you can adjust, but doubt it would help....
