what's u with the lack of ABS??

So, I'm looking to uptade my g, and out of 14 different places I've called, NOT ONE comes with ABS... Wth?!
All I want is a 2001 2.0L 5spd WITH ABS! It's like asking for a DNA sample! Geeez.

Yes and not. LoL. Not a "new" proteg...I've got a '00 and I'm tired of the weak 1.6, and the lack of safety, specially when it rains... I wanna upgrade to an '01 for the 2.0 FS, disc brakes all around, and was hoping ABS, but none of the ones I've see have it...

Not around here... the cheapest I've found go for like 7k... and they're mostly sold by owner, not by dealer... I need to trade MY '00 to use towards the new car... unlucky me.

do you have a motorcycle or an alternate form of transportation? sell the pro then buy an msp. you can find em on the website here, go for a drive and get one for 5000 or 4500

good luck finding ABS on a 2001 protege. it was a ultra-rare package that included side airbags, and was expensive, too. your best bet, if you NEED to have ABS, would be to look for an MSP.

ABS? um, no, not ALL pro5's. all MSP have ABS. DX have nothing. and, at least in 2001, you needed to get an ES to have the option for ABS and side airbags.

if you want ABS, buy an ES like i have and like he said ^^^

personally, i hate ABS and will probably cut off the sensors...
