What's the deal??

I've been wanting to paint my Pro another color for a long time. But I know a quality paint job is out of my price range. Recently, I came across this company www.earlscheib.com

They don't remove anything from the car when they paint, so that's why their prices are relatively inexpensive. Has anybody heard of them or used some place similar?

I'm really not looking for an extremely, extremely, high quality paint job, since my Pro is a daily commuter, and the poor thing is just going to be rock chipped to hell anyway. I just want another color car! :D

And how good can the paint job be if they don't remove anything??

Any opinions or advice is appreciated. Thanks

I've heard the Earlscheib paint jobs are barely a step up from Macco.
I am not so sure they are a step up.....good ol' Earl has been around for a lot longer than Macco....in fact I think that is where Macco got the idea for their business.....Earl Schieb paint jobs are a joke.....the only thing they are good for is if you want to do a bunch of prep, tape it all off.....get it painted JUST SO YOU CAN SELL IT and the car look a little better.....

DO NOT...I repeat...do NOT get an Earl Scheib paint job....that is unless you are just about to trade in your car......you will be sorry if you do.

listen to everyone ... ES paint jobs are only good if you want to sell a car quick and cheap. if you want a paint job worth looking at follow these rules prep + prep + prep + quality paint + skill = quality paint job.
take care of the car as it is. save the money to get a REAL paint job. nothing worse then spending 300 bucks having it flake peel and fade in a year or so and then keep doing it over and over. take the time and save up to do it right and then you dont have to worry about it

Yikes!

Thanks for the warning!! Good thing I asked you folks first before deciding to do something awful and silly. Now I'm not tempted to spend that money :D

What color is your car? Maybe you should think of getting a body kit and getting it painted to match your car.

You should still spend that money. Just not on a crap paint job. Spend it later on a quality paint job or now on some other mod.

Invest your $299 in some stocks for a year. If you hit big, get a good PJ.
