No, it has to do w/the item being overpriced.
 
Well then you need to show me a DP that is made from GOOD QUALITY parts so I know it won't fall apart/rust/break/etc.... and then show it to me for under $400....... not even the process of MAKING it would cost under $400. The people who make the product also need to get a substantial profit back, so that they can have enough to put in their pocket....... not just enough to pay for supplies, equipment, shop rental, etc.

If you want to experiment see how much it would cost a custom fab shop to make you a down pipe.... I doubt it'll be anything much less than $350

Your such an idiot! We are all sorry that you cant get parts at the price you want to pay! Maybe someday they will ask your opinion! Tell then, stop leaving your input. Why did you pay what you did for your car? Because you wanted it! You dont think its over priced... If i can buy a part for my car that will increase the power considerably, and i want it then ill pay what i have to pay to get it. Along with everyone else other then you! If you dont wanna spend 400 on a dp then who cares!? No one wants to know that your cheap! BYE!

hmmm. No need to get all upset AWDRacer. I for one agree with Insignificant. The price of the DP feels very over priced. Now, thats just my opinion and am not basing (sp?? )it on anything other then what I would be willing to pay. I have no idea how much it costs to produce or anything of the sort. I would just prefer a quality piece that I dont feel I'm getting ***** for.
 
like i said it has to do with supply and demand........... how much demand is there for a MS6 DP? obviously not as much as demand for an Evo or STI downpipe........ it all has to do with what the companies feel they can make money in what market........ Maybe in a year or 2 the DPs for MS6s will decrease in value as more and more demand for it increases.... you have to be able to pay for supplies as well as make a SMALL profit.....or your company goes out of business....

I agree that the are expensive but u say that you want a quality product without getting *****... I would much rather have got my car for $15,000 instead of what i did. But thats life. With the DP you see gains of 20 horse or more! So how is that not worth the money???.... Im just saying that the stuff is expensive, ok. But thats the way stuff is. The playstation when i got it a few years ago was $200 some and now its $99. So ya...

Hey guys... where can i find a pulley kit? I dont want the UDP because that messes with the AC and i need that! But what about the light weight pulley?

the ETS TMIC is supposed to provide better airflow than the factory TMIC.


You know what I want? a hood, with a flush style scoop in it......to direct air directly into the TMIC....... I guarantee you'll notice better response from the car.
