What the heck is Fuel Cut???

Dont flame.

I know that this is one of the hottest issues on this forun, trust me...i know, BUT
noone actually described how fuel cut feels.
i feel hesitation, is that the same as fuel cut, or does hesitation feel any different.

actually after installing Joe's FPR kit the hesitation is 10% of what it used to be. it's gone on the hot days.

i will be installing Joe's MBC in couple of days, so with upped boost will i experience fuel cut, HOW WILL I KNOW THAT IT IS FUEL CUT ?

If I am not mistaken "fuel cut" is just what it sound like. It's when the fuel is stopped from going into your motor.

Please correct me if I am wrong.

According to the member perfworks, the only thing the fuelcut is, is the MAF (Mass Air Flow sensor) maxing out to it's 5 volt capasity.

i used to work in this deli and one of the salads we made was this midetirenian checken salad (weird lookin')
so people would come and ask "What kind of meat is that?"
and we'll be all serious: "it's Pteradactyl"
and they'll be like "Really? Can we try it?"

i used to almost s*** my pants from laughter, how stupid can pople be?


but anyway, who know how to tell if you're fule cuttin' ?

yeah man, i read that thread, but it doesnt say how to determine if what u are experiencing is actual fuel cut.
that';s what i wanna know - how do u know if it's fuel cut or something else?

trust me it feels like you broke something. It cuts the ignition till you get back down below a certin speed or rpm or voltage on the maf ;-)

ok, so the stumble does not drop the speed it just doesnt accelerate where the fuel cut actually deccelerates the car.........

Imagine if you will a fat woman running full speed after a floating cupcake about 5 ft off the ground, her arms outstretched palms out, reaching like hell, just running as fast as that huge ass will take her. Now she is wearing a large dog collar around her neck and it has a chain attached to it. When lardo hits the end of her chain with a violent yank and her feet come flying straight up in the air and she comes falling back to Earth with a shattering thud landing flat on her back kicking up dust as her large corpulent and now sweaty body comes to a hideous jiggly halt.
