What Parts Should I Order for a Tune-Up?

:
2000 Protege ES
hi guys,

sorry for the newb question, but i've decided to save some money this christmas by attempting to DIY the tune-up on my 2000 ES. can you please tell me if these are all the parts i'll need:

spark plugs
spark plug wire set
ignition coil pack

are there any other parts that i may be missing? sorry if this has been addressed before, but i couldn't find a reference and wanted to place the order so the parts arrive in time for me to get the work done while i'm home for the holidays. thanks!!

I would check brake pad thickness on front and rears. I'm assuming you changed the oil within the last 6 months or 6,000 miles?

good suggestion!! brake pads were checked and good 3 months ago, and the oil gets changed religiously...any other parts i should order with the plugs, wires and coil pack? would really like to get my order placed soon...thanks again!!

p.s. happy holidays everyone!!

Well I just bought a used Protege and I checked air filter, changed PCV valve, cleaned IAC valve (and would have cleaned EGR valve but I don't have one), changed out power steering fluid with synthetic transmission fluid, inspect motor mounts, changed radiator hoses, thermostat, and radiator fluid, inspect battery connections and ground connections. I also changed out MTF fluid to synthetic.
