***Warnings About UPS "Drivers"***
this was sent to me from my dad who works for Lockheed Martin Aero, and I work for UPS (loader, not driver). Even at the center where I work, we're taking extra percautions to lock up the package cars over the weekend.
Just thought you may want to be aware.
Over the last 30 days, there has been a huge purchase of United Parcel Service (UPS) uniforms through e-Bay. This could present a threat as bogus drivers could pose as UPS drivers and could have access to properties (usually without question) and drop off packages containing anything.
If you have any questions when a UPS driver arrives at your door, the driver should be able to furnish valid ID. If you have any problems with a UPS driver, you should immediately call local authorities.
This information was released from the warfare center at Langley Air Force Base.
