unwanted lowering

I recently hit a curb with my 2003 protg 5. I replaced the shock, spring, rim and tire. When I put the new parts on the car sits fine but after a few hours or a trip around the block my car is practically sitting on the tire. Every time I go over a bump my car bounces down and scrapes the tire. The car still drives fine and works, however I cant go over a bump for fear that my car is going to crush the tire. Is there a simple solution to getting the car to sit at its proper height for?

some questions:
Did you do the install or a shop?
Is the spring set correctly at the top?
Are you sure nothing else was damaged (lower A arm)?
Did you use new parts or used?

..................sounds like lowering causes too many problems..i give up..

WOW... thats an awesome job dude. I havent seen a bend THAT bad without the car being totalled....

Oh, it was a curb!!!!
I've done that, 2 times in the mr2. I had to replace the right rear and axel and the right front. I hit the same curb. Long story short, I finally found out how fast to take that turn. lol
