universal parts?

I was wondering what parts if any were universal for all the protege (base, msp, mp5). I was told that all suspension and and some bolt ons were universal but i was also told by someone who was trying to sell me stuff so i dont completely trust them...any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

It also depends on the year. 99-00 have a different rear sub frame, so some bolt on suspension upgrades might not be swappable from an 01-03 to a 99-00. Intakes also vary by engine because the intake pipe diameter, and MAF sensor layout. Hope this helped.

yes that actually does. and i guess i could have been specific. i have 2000 protege lx, 1.6l, 5speed. im just trying to see what i could get since majority of stuff i see is for msp and mp5.

Well as far as I'm concerned, most of the MSP stuff fit on my car with some very minor tweaks. It could also be cause I got the ES model...

You could rock all the body kit from the speed. Suspension and racing beat catback.

Well i have quite a few mods on my car or at least going to install on it when my build is complete. Take a look at my build links in my sig. Theres a thresd someone made with all the compatable parts people have done see if you can find that. It pretty much has everything that is compatible.
