turbo

that wastegate actuator wont work it will hit the block. Those silvia turbos should work. Although i do remember someone trying one and the bottom middle bolt didn't line up, but i could just be imagining that. If you have any questions hit me up.

one of the bolts is slightly off. i forget which one. Expect to do some serious grinding on one of your dp bolt holes

or just don't use the bottom middle hole. I ran with out that for a while when i had my corksport s pipe installed

The t2 flange is pretty much universal. Down pipes on the other hand have many variations

Btw the t2560 and gt28 are the same thing from what I have seen

Just about any turbo will put out more than the fsde can handle, so unless you're already forged or have bad seals spend your money else where

I used a 1/4" Carbide bur to eat away at the hole. Probably would have worked better in a air grinder vs my cord drill

i don't agree with this line of thinking. i've run 28 frame turbos on my old msp for years without issue. It's all about how you treat the car. Me personally i feel like the later spool and more top end put less stress on the motor vs the insta spool low end power of the 25r. Again it's all in how you drive the car.

Didnt SCMP3 run a slvia turbo ive seen and heard of people running gt30 on the stock block 8 to 9 psi without a problem im just tryna think out of the box to have more choices then just garrett..... Although i plan to run stock block my new engine is beautiful condition almost new looking i do plan to get the lower 5th gear to help with highway speed the doc b oil system and all of the little bs like adp and thermo spacer to help reduce heat and the biggest adder is gonna be a awr pan to keep the car reliable

The gt30 will be worthless at 8-9 psi. Search around with Honda people runing low boost going from a t3 to a smaller turbo, most get 30-50 whp gains because their new turbo is more efficient at that boost level. A t28 should be fine for what you want, you won't really push it hard enough with stock internals so with an fmic air intake temps should be fine. Awr oil pan is a bandaid if you want the real solution to the oiling issue look into the doc b oil pump set up

It's all in preference. I like seeing 18 psi at 3200 rpms, only reason I'm going with a bigger turbo is because mine is pretty much maxed out. But at the same time the top end on my brothers civic is awesome but his turbo won't even start spooling up till 4500 rpms. It's mostly about comprising between how fast you want it to spool up, how much top end you want and how much boost your going to run to keep it in its efficiency. As soon as I get my new chip and tune ill be runing a t2871/60 at 18-20 psi which is right in its sweet spot. Hoping for 280-320 whp, if I was going for the 200 mark I would go with a t25

You don't want to have a too big of a turbo for the application.

I plan to get the doc b oil system if u read my post and awr pan for me its more than a bandaid cuz theres plenty of gain as to having the oe. Being it helps under extreme condition and daily driving cuz im sure most people that own proteges at some point drove short of oil.... My plan with my turbo is to send it sdforcedinduction they have services like porting out the the gt25 and possible converting it to a gtx series dual ball bearing
