turbo timer

well as the title says...I am wondering if I need a turbo timer for my turbo kit...or is that overkill? if I jst spend about a min or so everytime I stop...staying out of boost...is that enough...or would a turbo timer be a good addition...and about turbo timers..will it keep my car on..and I can just walk away? or do I have to stay in my car for the time it calculates for cool-down?

do they keep ur car on...so like u can park...remove the keys..and walk away..and ur car will still be on...I read something like that...and like when u put the E-brake down or something the car will turn off...for some sort of security...anywayz...I think that would be kinda kewl. "Hey buddy, u left ur car on", " no man, jst wait..it will go off when ITS ready"

Yeah, thats how it works. I don't know about the ebrake thing, but it does run after you take the key out and such. PLus they have fun features like 0-60's times.

it seems as though most units have this e-brake feature...what about a/f ratio? is there an all in one unit that has that too?

There's no need for a turbo timer. Just drive like a normal human being for the last mile of your trip, same as you would with a naturally aspirated car. They're great toys, but you could spend your money elsewhere...

Not that I know of. Some stand-alone units have one built into them
