I am working with a company right now to hopefully use my car for a Turbo Back exhaust system. I am thinking Hi Flow cat and 3" piping to a new muffler. Would any of you be interested in this if it were to develope?

what company, what make of cat? what make of muffler ? If the price is right, and the product is good, then alot of people will be interested.

I would rather not say the company right now, I have had people still my project before. But when it is finalized I will tell you. sorry

Have they thrown any prices at you yet? (keep in mind you will prob be getting a discount if you show they have a potential market)I'm sure you could have a lot of people here interested if it were a quality product at a good price(under a grand). While you're at it, you should see about having htem make a downpipe/straightpipe by itself. I would love to have a turbo back, but that's almost $1,000 to come up with at once. It would be easier to get a nice straight pipe and catback at separate times. Just a thought...Oh yeah...you said "hopefully to use your cra" Does that mean you haven't talked to them yet? I'm wondering how long we are looking at before these would be available....

wow, must be coincidence that spicymsp is working with magnaflow which is fabricating a cat back exhaust. cool beans=cool farts

SUCKA!!! ^_^

It is not with magnaflow, I had them for my last car, and did not like the sopund it gave. I have talked with them, and we are looking for a development hopefully in the end of July.

woo woo! cool another turbo back system!

i would like info on this because it has cats!!!! yay!!!!

cool your in NPB! Did you happen to attend CdMHS?

Is it going to be a 2.5" mandrel-bent stainless steal system? 3"?

I am all for using high-flow cats. I know cats aren't cheap, but the environment is worth it. Are you planning on just one cat? Resonator?

I'd like to know about the piping diameter, the materials used, the quality of the build, the ease of installation, the and the loudness of the exhaust note. I don't want anything really loud, or ricey sounding. I like the sound of the stock exhaust, but wouldn't mind it a bit louder.

Oh yeah, lastly, an increase in actual performance would be nice too...

I would need a lot more specifics before I commit to anything. Personally I think you could built a nice system for near or under $1000, you could save money by going 2.5" instead of 3", since our tiny turbo's won't benefit from the larger size.

I think it's kind of silly to ask a question like this when you won't divulge any info on the product or the company. I dounbt anyone would blindly say that yes they would buy something that they haven't seen or perform. The idea is good but without seeing the product or the company I doubt this feeler thread will be a true gauge of how many units said company will sell off this site. Nobody here wants to steal your idea if you could call it yours in the first place. People make turbo back exhaust for lots of diff. cars and if you are this far along in the develoemnt stage I doubt anyone will beat you to the punch. :p
