Toyota prepares new Verso MPV for Geneva debut

Yup, I think that is the answer to our speculation ;)

Here we go:

2008 Verso -> 4360mm (171.65in)
2009 Verso -> 4360mm + 70mm = 4430mm (174.40in)
2008 Mazda5 -> 4505mm (177.36in)
2008 Kia Carens (Rondo) -> 4545mm (178.93in)

So I guess the Mazda5 is still the smallest (in length) vehicle with 3 rows in N. America. (correct me if I am wrong)

Blah! Another centered cluster from Toyota, no legroom for ANYONE in the third row...maybe this replaces the Matrix? Its ugly.

Are there different lengths of the Mazda 5?
Every place I read, the Mazda5 is 181.5 inches. Maybe the N. American Mazda5 is 4 inches longer than it's European/Asian Premacy counterpart??

Someone in Houston has one of these, I was driving on 45 and it got in front of me. I was wondering what it was because I had not read Verso anywhere...I thought it was a mis-badged versa from Nissan. I guess i was wrong.

^^ The only different MPV sold south of the border I know of is the Avanza, a Daihatsu spin-off. That thing cannot be confused with anything else, he he
