Me and my friend were down in Amityville (he drives a Mp3 w/intake) and on the way back (about 1am) we lined up at a light with no cars infront. We both launched, and to my amazement, but the end of third gear his front bumper as even with the back of my front tires! haha thats one for the 2k1 civic!

I get the impression your civic is stock, and in that case your friend must suck at shifting, not trying to say your lying or that civics suck, but you must be a better driver then your friend.

Nope, EX, he didnt get a good launch, i did, he tried to tell me he didnt know it was a race, bulls*** u dont chirp second if your "just cruising". He wants to go again but i think i'll just claim my victory instead of being embarrassed the next time
