Test Drove an MSP Friday...

Well the people that have been here for a long time know me, but I sold my MP3 and got a supercharged SI but i broke down and drove an MSP this past weekend. Its not as fast as my SI but is still nice. I drove the yellow one, and and man I wish they would break down and put cruise on the car. The dealership is going to call me later this week to see what I want to do.
My Si is in the shop getting a new body kit, fenders, wheels. Once I get that out Im going to sell the car. So I might be back but

Yes, Orange MSP has an upgraded turbo (T3/4), with a new IC, and hard pipes. There was someone on here that ran a 13.8 in the 1/4 too in an MSP so the Proteges are stepping up to the plate.

it raises the street value crazy like. dealers won't pay jack for a modded car, but some 17 yo kid will give top dollar.

Well I have already purchased the body kit and wheels, and I believe that I can make a profit on the Civic, and then I can get comfortable into MSP. The only thing that is going to suck is going from cruise and a Sun roof to nothing.....

There is that one home boy in the forum that had a damn nice professionally installed sunroof added to his MSP.
It looked factory. As for the cruise? Well that is a different story.
I guess I'm happy with my MSP even with "nothing."

No Sunroof..No Cruise....No problemo.

I gave up all of that when I traded my '99 SE Limited. I'm not missing it that bad. My wife's ES has those fine options, so what the hell.

I gave up sunroof and cruise as well. I've probably used cruise about 3 times total from all my previous cars ( I hate it, don't see a use for it) and I thought I'd miss the moonroof, but I don't really. Only thing I do miss is how the sunroof improves the look of the car from outside. I don't miss using it at all. I also don't miss the squeaks they all have and the coldness in the winter, and a hot sun on top of my head in the summer.

didnt mean for you all to take that personal, instead of "NOTHING" i should have put without it, but you have to rememeber that i had a MP3 before most of you. So i know what it is like to not have Speed Control, I travel alot. I can always live without it, its just something I do perfer.

But, honestly, why you traded your MP3 for that Civic....I think you were nuts. Nice car, but I traded a Civic for my mp3. Granted, mine wasn't supercharged ( Must be nice) but I could never go back to a civic again.

Come back to Mazda buddy. We miss you ! I still got pics of your MP3 believe it or not. They were nice shots.
