Talk about bad luck.

Woke up this morning to about 20 degree F temperature but no snow. Washed my car the day before at a car wash. First off, my iphone reset itself and would not load up and I had to hook it up to my PC. So that got fixed, and I decided to go to work. Opened up the passenger side sliding door. Oh what a mistake, could not close it for 10 min. Finally halfway closed it but still had the open door sign on. Then as I tried to make sure it's completely closed and safe to drive, I noticed that there is a 1/2 inch screw in my right rear tire. So I tested the pressure and realized it was not deflated, so I figured I will drive with it. Got to work and decided to take out the screw with a key, and kept picking at it. Finally the screw came out, more like jumped out, and hit me straight in my left eye. Luckily, I closed my eyelid so that was the only thing that was red, and my eye was OK.
So put things in order:
iPhone reset itself
door would not close
found screw in tire
screw hit me in the eye

I decided to just sit at my desk and do my work for the rest of the day, and did not attempt to do anything or go anywhere.
Finally home safe, so hopefully this bad luck streak is over.

1. Your iPhone reset itself... could have bricked!
2. Got the door closed... something definitely could have broken leaving with an unclosed-able door!
3. That screw could have ruined your tire, maybe even left it unrepairable... that's good luck if you ask me!
4. Got that ol'eyelid closed in record time... nice work, mix of good reflexes and good luck... I'd say the world is on your side right now... go buy a lottery ticket!! (*Legal edit: If you win, you owe me half. Source - I kinda wanted to be a lawyer once.)

I listened to your advice and bought a scratch-off, I have not scratched it off yet, but I will tomorrow. I am letting it ripen...lol (not a lottery person, but what the heck).

Sounds good to me! Oh ya for sure, those things need to ripen at least a day or two before scratching...
