is it possible to switch ECU with a regular Protege and solve the hesitation problem? What would exactly happen if I switch ECU and nothing else?
do aftermarket turbo kits like BEGI include something to "trick" the ECU and for it to recognize the boost? Please school me!
Is it possible probally if you want to blow your engine. Remember your car maped for boost a non turbo isnt. No extra fuel = Extremely lean. Lean = bad. You should already have a boost sensor. I belive all proteges due but not sure. You deffinetly should because otherwise your ecu wouldnt know when your under boost to retard tming and add more fuel. Also to shut down everything if your car overboosts by accident
