What kit do you guys recommend for having a tighter suspension but still have the same ride height maybe a little taller if possible

My rear sway made a big difference, well until I put a massive sub enclosure in the back. ;) The new KYB's also helped. The Eibach springs will for sure.

If you're looking to raise the car, the Eibach's will lower it. Most any aftermarket spring out there is going to lower the car. I can't think of anything short of a spacer that would effectively raise the car, and it would have to be custom made to fit between the strut top and the car body (if the studs on the top hat were long enough, otherwise they'd have to be replaced).

It might also be that your car has sagged due to old springs or struts. A simple replacement with oem or oem equivalent parts would put you back at stock ride height. FWIW most people lower their protege (myself included).

id say try the racingbeat sway bar and springs it will lower it but very little and it will be a good ride

if you want to upgrade struts, go with tokico hp (blues) or illumina models... as far as lowering springs the two most common are eibach pro kit and tein s tech...

another option is getting coilovers, more pricey but they will make it more stiff like you described. some common brands are bc and yellowspeed

but my number one suggestion to you would be getting an awr rear sway bar and adjustable end links, this will tighten up your suspension and will not adjust ride height, cheapest to do too
