Now that you have boost, the 300-3500 thing won't work- you'll just boil the tires. I was launching about 2500 last night and slipping the clutch to about 3000 while slowly rolling the throttle on just at the edge of traction- kind of like taking off from a normal light, just a bit faster.. Turbo cars spin like mad when the boost hits, so you have to throttle accordingly. Don't go WOT in 1st until you know it will hook or only spin a couple feet.

Dude you should have beat his ass. My buddy has a type r with internals done pistons and ported polished heads intake exhaust header and i hang with him hes putting 185 to the wheel. And my car is stock. He beats me by about a car at the track but if i get him out of the hole i got his ass.

My bud at work has a mid 90's N/A MR2 with an aftermarket intake and a Greddy exhuast and I kicked his ass. Of course I have had 4 months to get used to the car and I am at 11lbs.
I still like the MR2 though.
Just get your launch down, tune your car, and take him out.

HEHEHEH Oh yeah the boost is fun pulls o so strong now.
Hey am I the only one who got stuck with an 1/8'' wastegate hose and an 1/8 "t" with 1/8'' boost hoses?
Man this sucks these cars all seem to be ****** up in different ways. Allthough I still love the little 4 wheeled Nubian Boost *****.
Come on baby it's not your fault some fuckhead factory American tech used a tiny line on ya. Daddy's gonna hook you up with da BIG hose.

Just curious yash- what is your pro #? I wonder if it was an early/late thing. Mine is 1113 and I had 3.16.
