stereo question

what do you guys think of the pioneer primer head unit???? my neighbor has one brand new and wants to sell it to me ....he also has an orion amp and i dont remeber the name of the sub....if anybodys wondering this guy has a stereo shop and he wants to hook up my car so he giving me some good deals on this stuff...what do you guys think???

Well if you are look to just run one sub and replacing all your highs and running them to that amp then that work good, But if he is looking to hook you up then go for it

Would that head unit work if i wanted to hook up a monitor to it???OR a few monitors for that matter???

I'm not familair wiht pioneer headunit but it does not list an aux input to get a video sources audio to play trough the car. Other then that monitors don't hook up to headunits.

I tried to find the orions info but they dont list a damn thing on that site the most I can gather is it is a 5 channel meaning you either run the whole system with it or a sub and give alot of power to just the front speakers. Typicaly the sub channel of a 5 channel amp isn't very powerful, usualy under 300 watts rms.

I don't know anything abotu stereo setups....I want to have a monitor(s) in my car. What would be a good HU and display to get that is good yet not to pricey(LIKE THE APLINES)? I plan on upgrading all the speakers and maybe doing like one ten...
