Has anyone heard a squeak sound coming from the driver or passenger seat? It doesnt bother me when I have the radio up loud, but it still shouldnt be squeaking.. Im not a heavy person or anything.. about 150lbs... the seat squeaks when im driving over the smallest bumps and when I move..

Just wondering if anyone else had this problem.. I would take it up to the dealer where i bought the car if I wasnt pissed at them.. maybe I will take it to a different dealer..

Thanks

Yessir - my seat squeaks also.

Not always - seems to be somewhat weather related, maybe? Not sure, but my driver's seat definitely has that springy squeaksqueak when I move.

I plan to just get under there and take a look. I can't be bothered making a dealership run for it. Probably just find the offending spring and put a little bend in it.

I'll let you know what I find.

Im not sure if its coming from the back rest or the seat.... It is really annoying when the radio is off though..

Glad (kinda) to see someone else has the squeak.. I will take a look at mine tomarro and see if I see something new.. I need to clean my car anyways..

Make sure it is the seat...mine was seatbelt latch

I dismantled seat and put cloth between
foam and metal bottom but this is not where squeak was coming from.

I squirted a little bit of white lithium grease in the seatbelt latches and squeak went away.

teh part where the belt comes out of the b-pillar sqeakes sometimes when its cold

mine honestly soungs like its the seat itself.. I guess I will look into it being the seatbelt latch... I need to work on the car some more..

My driver seat squeaks too. But to fix the problem, I simply adjusted the knobs on the left side of the seat a bit, and the noise went away.

I have a sqweak too, I'm not 100% shure but I think it's the passenger seat and it's not all the time, some days it sqweaks with every bump some other days it doesn't.

Ya mine squeaks where the driver's side seatbelt comes out
of the Bpillar. The passenger side doesn't do it though. Only when it was -30C outside then it starts happening(which has been for the last few days).

I had a seat squeak too and also traced it to the seatbelt latch (by your right hip). It was bugging me for about 3 or 4 months and could have sworn it was the seat itself. It was actually the pivot of the seatbelt latch that was squeaking, not the latch itself. It is easy enough to rule out, just squirk a bit of WD-40 into the pivot bolt area.
