Spark Plugs Platinum 4+

Am I correct to assume that the Protege 2 liter in the Protege ES and the Protege 5 are identical. I hope so because I just ordered the Bosch Platinum 4+'s for the 2 liter engine to find out later that there was a seperate option for the P5. Shouldn't these be the same. Is there a different gap?

Yes, those both have the same engines. The FS-DE 2.0 litre engine, so they'll work just fine. As for the gap, you don't gap Platinum +4's, as they're of a special design, having four prongs.

I installed, they work great. Just look up the standard Protege ES and use the same plugs. I am sorry I don't have more info, but I trashed the receipt.
