Some progress has been made on the hesitation issue. Of course I urge all Mazdaspeed owners with the problem to sign the petition that Boostisgood created, but also doing this might help as well.
I just called Mazdausa and talked to someone at the call center. He told me that an e-mail just went out to the people at the call center and now they have a specific person there that is putting a case together for the engineers on our behalf. Rich (I believe that was his name) stated that the engineers have been a little slow on finding a fix so they have elected someone in customer service to put all the customer files together and forward them to a specific person who will then forward it to engineering. Basically to light a fire under engineering he said.
So please call Mazdausa and get them to open a file for you so it could be sent out. Also keep your file number for future reference. MAKE SURE YOU HAVE A FILE OPEN WITH MAZDAUSA. This will hopefully encourage them to get the ball moving a little bit faster.
