i am going to start a header fund. if i get enough, i will donate any extra funds to this forum, and the rest will go towards a header from RacingMazda.com and the cost involved in making it fit a protege. I will also be looking into dyno time to quantify the header gains. (before AND after, both on a stock protege 2.0 liter)

there is no minimum donation amount, and there is also no maximum donation amount. (if you want to send $0.50, that's ok, and if you want to send $50, that's ok, too!) if you would like to donate to my header fund, please send paypal funds to <email>

header cost is $290. i don't know yet what it will cost to have it modified to fit the protege, but it will involve relocating the egr fitting, and adding a second cat-coverter and o2 bung. (don't want a CEL now, do we?) another purpose of this will be to make it easy to install and remove, as i live in new york, and we have visual emissions inspections.
