SMIC cooling ideas

Are there any kits/options for pushing air thru a SMIC to help keep it cool? I know theres options for front mounts, but I havent seen any for side mounts.
I'm pondering the idea of just hooking up a couple small fans (similar to CPU fans) and mounting them to it; I'm just not sure if they can survive the heat from the engine bay, or if it would even be effective.

wouldn't do much. it's not the engine bay that heatsoaks the SMIC (though it doesn't help), it's the massive amounts of scalding hot compressed gas.
