$950 sounds about right.

i'd find a protege at a salvage yard, swipe the tails (i dont lie the pink tint on the msp's anyways), and find a hook on on paint and the bumper looks repairable.

heres one incident like a week b4 xmas 03, only cost 100 for ins purposes but was just an eyesore and something i wish i could find the kids that did it

no offense but some women just cant drive..a lady running a red light and hit my ass..was around 4500 in damage, luckily was cautious enough the next time i had to go through this intersection otherwise i would have met a damn avalanche hitting my ass and luckily the girl driving that hit me here was only in a little later 90 model sentra..spun her ass back the same way i was driving she was going so damn fast..and again no offense to women drivers but stupid woman

Here's mine after the accident. Car was considered a total loss and because I owed more than it was worth, I'm still paying for it. The accident happened in September of 03'

No accidents, but I did find this once when I went out to me car after a hard day's work:

Hit me hard enough that it knocked the bumper out of alingment.

I also have a bunch of dents, some down to the metal. ARGH!

I suppose I should count myself lucky that this is the worst that has happened (*knocks on his desk*). Still, you never want anything to happen to your baby.

Here is mine. I had the car for less than 2 months and around 6000 miles and I got hit by a van. It was wet out b.c it had rained and the light turned yellow. Since there were 2-3 cops waiting for the stoplight to turn green I decided to stop. I checked to make sure I had enough room behind me so I wouldn't get hit. The van was probably a good 10 cars behind me at least when I stopped. I guess he wasn't paying attention b.c as I was putting it into first ,BAM I got hit. I few forward- yes I had my seatbelt on, and then the seat flew backword and I ended up in a semi-reclined position. My car got pushed about 5ft, and I remind you I had my foot on the brake the whole time . I was in total stock ,shaking and everything, not crying though lol. Anyways the cops saw the accident and came right over. The guy in the van said he tried to stop but couldn't. He had totally bald tires and slid into me going around 35-40mph. It took about 6 weeks to fix the car and I still notice new things wrong with it everyday. I love my car so I just try to ignore it.

this is such a sad thread.....i dont know what id do if i got into an accident as bad as some of yours...if they "totaled" my car id take the money and "run"..god id hate to think of something like that accually happeneing
