should i get a moonroof?

I'm debating if i should get a moonroof....

I saw how it looked like and it looks very complicated should it break down in 5 years. I'm scared that if i get it i'll use it once and that'll be it.

I've never had a car with one, just wondering if its worth it?

I say go for it....I didn't want one either.....then after searching and searching the only yellow P5 I could find had one....so I got it...and I am NOT sorry....I don't use it a lot....seeing as how in the summer its really hot.....but when the weather is right....its open.....and if nothing else you pull back the sun shade and let the sun in.....I love it...

depends on how tall you are. im about 6 ft, and sit up really straight, so i found that i only had like 1 inch room above my head with the moonroof, which was too close for me to be comfortable.

Without moonroof i have about 3-4 inches, and it feels much more spaceous.

Maybe im just claustrophobic.

theres no better feeling than cruising around in the summer with your the sunroof open.

Always get the roof, you'll regret it some day if you dont. Besides, if you don't you can't have some prety girl hang out the top and wave in parades.

Not to mention it will up the resale value on your car if you ever want to sell it..... most people will buy the car with an extra option versus the car without... whether they need it or not.

I had one on my last two cars, and specifically wanted the P5 without it. Really wanted a yellow one, but all the local yellows had both the moonroof and the automatic, so it didn't take me too long to fall in love with a silver one (which was my 2nd choice) and since I didn't want any of the add-on stuff, I got a great deal on a demo car they had on the lot - $14,650 including everything. $2800 more in payments now, and it's all MINE - (Well, the wife might argue that last point )

You dont want to be a loner like pr5owner in the CPC! all the P5's so far that have shown up have moonroofs except for him! lo, just kiddin Em, its all good, depends on what you want, and what you would like on your car...

I didn't want one, but the dealer had the car I wanted with one so I bought it. I'm glad I did.

As much as it's great when the weather is nice, nothing is better than leaving the cover open on a cold winter day and having the sun warm the car up.

Also, I am 6' 1" and I have TONS of headroom. I'm not sure how people have their seats adjusted, but one of the first things I noticed when I drove the car was how much headroom there is.
